Love Letters to History

According to the date engraved on the sundial at the gable, the Jordanhaus was built in 1507. Over the centuries the house experienced a turbulent history including several changes of ownership until it was finally reunited with the Amplatz estate.

We completely renovated this charming annex to create our new apartment suites, while preserving the traces of its rich past. Today, the stories of three of its former residents live on in the suites named after them.Each reflecting their profession and personality.
